Location: Bright Hill
Working Hrs: 27.5hrs/weekly
Responsibilities:
Laboratory Preparation and Support:
1. Preparing Apparatus and Equipment: Providing necessary materials for lessons as requested by Science Teachers.
2. Clearing and Cleaning: Collecting and clearing away equipment, disposing of waste, and washing apparatus.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Checking for faulty equipment, reporting issues, and repairing if possible.
IT Equipment Management:
1. Liaising with TA: Ensuring IT equipment is in working condition.
Safety and Organization:
1. First Aid Kit Maintenance: Checking and replenishing first aid kits.
2. Material Distribution: Distributing desk copies and science materials to teachers.
Stock Management:
1. Inventory Management: Preparing inventory of stocks twice a year.
2. Replenishing Consumables: Liaising with HOD to replenish consumables.
3. Stock Record-Keeping: Keeping a stock book, recording breakage, and managing apparatus and reference materials loaned to teachers.
Special Activities:
1. Exhibit Maintenance: Maintaining exhibits, noticeboards, and interactive displays.
2. Practical Assessment Support: Supporting teachers in practical assessments.
3. Science Exhibition Preparation: Helping with preparations for science exhibitions.
4. General Support: Providing support to science teachers and HOD in related matters.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
1. Secondary 4 Education: Preferably completed Secondary 4 education.
Experience:
1. Relevant Work Experience: Relevant work experience, preferably in a primary school science laboratory.
2. Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Ideally 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
Skills:
1. Independence and Confidence: Ability to work independently and confidently.
2. Organizational Skills: Organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task.
3. Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office.
