Summary of Agency Business Support:
Agency Business Support supports the Agency Sales Force in the day-to-day business relating to agency business administration and operations, events, contests, roadshows (Marketing & Distribution activities), regulatory and financial governance support, to ensure that current and planned business operations are within the department risk appetite.
About the Role and the key responsibilities:
This role will report to the Agency Business Support Manager in the daily administration and operations to support the Agency Sales Force primarily in:
- Key liaison personnel in Agency on the group insurance administration support for agency sales representatives
- Handle general enquiries, feedback and complaints on coverage, service provider and claims submission
- Administer the monthly representative movement record update to group business department
- Preparation of annual and monthly payment/deductions upload files for payment to group business and deduction from representative’s commission statement and benefits-in-kind upload for IRAS reporting
- Assist agency representatives in the submission of major claim
- Support in the annual renewal for representatives group insurance
- Liaise with life and health operations on the administration of policy discount for representatives
- Risk and regulatory support for Agency
- Perform monthly reviews on common address of representatives and their customers
- Support the manager to conduct quarterly checks to comply with the regulatory ad audit sample checks on coaching forms
- Support the manager in the facilitation of quarterly and annual lifestyle observation exercises relating to fraud detection
- Provide operational support for representative welfare administration
- Track and prepare consolidated monthly orders and raise procurement payment request
- Support Agency in the administration on system access
- Onboarding of system access for new agency staff and agency sales leaders
- Facilitate the completion of bi-annual system access review
- Work with the team to ensure the day-to-day operations and service requests are processed accurately and timely.

- Provide cover for daily reports on sales issuance and submission
- Any ad hoc report support as required
- Any ad hoc administrative and operational support tasks as assigned
Requirements, Competencies and Traits:
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in life insurance industry
- Meticulous, diligent and able to handle data
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good stakeholder management
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc
- Team player

- Proactive in improving current state of things
