Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting for APAC entities, focusing on corporate accounting for both regulated and unregulated businesses.
- Conduct monthly financial reporting, including expense recording, cost allocation, tax computations, and variance analysis of financial data.
- Prepare and ensure compliance of audited financial statements under IFRS standards.
- Work closely with the US Finance team to align global financial practices and support seamless operations.
- Collaborate with regional leadership and the Technology team to drive process automation, identify risks, and support innovative projects.
Job Requirements:
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, ideally with a background in a Big 4 public accounting firm.
- Proven expertise in financial institutions such as hedge funds, investment management, or securities brokerage, with knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP familiarity preferred).
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting, including MAS and/or SFC requirements; familiarity with JFSA/BoJ reporting is a bonus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications; experience with Oracle, Power BI, or Alteryx is highly desirable.
