[What the role is]
This teaching role is in the School of Business.[What you will be working on]
- Conduct lessons to pre-employment (PET) students and continuing education and training (CET) adult learners in general business and fundamental technology areas as well as carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the teaching role.
- Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning) in areas such as: Business Insights & Analytics / Computing Thinking for Business / Enterprise Resource Management / Fintech & Risk Governance / Process Management & Innovation / Digital Product Management.
- Conduct, mentor and facilitate student-industry collaboration projects and competitions.
- Support and advise students on student life and developmental activities, including leading students for local and overseas learning trips.
- Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for industry partners.
- Undertake industry or consultancy projects to enable digital transformation in the areas highlighted above specifically in Fintech, Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, GenAI, and willingness to pick up relevant digital tools;
- Take on additional duties as necessary such as committee work and outreach events.
[What we are looking for]
- A tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline with specialisation in Technology.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in at least one of these fields: blockchain, chatbot, internet of things, prototyping, robotic process automation, analytics, GenAI.
- Familiar with Data Science, Machine Learning / Deep Learning Algorithms, application of Machine Learning/AI in real-world industrial settings.
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in using analytics software for business.
- Have a passion for developing talents, and interest to share knowledge and interact with youths.
- Have strong industry linkages to carry out students’ projects and research.
