Position: Senior Manager / Manager, Clinical Operations
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our Clinical Operations team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in planning and developing clinical services, infrastructure, and resources for our new hospital. Your work will span key areas such as inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, clinical support, and more. With a strong focus on improving patient journeys and access to care, you’ll thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical insights during hospital planning workshops to enhance service design and patient experiences.
- Lead end-to-end planning efforts for Tengah Hospital – including service development, infrastructure design, and manpower planning.
- Work closely with medical planners, consultants, and internal teams to ensure service flows and design concepts align with strategic goals.
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and explore innovative planning solutions.
- Draft user briefs, operational guidelines, and process workflows; coordinate testing using virtual tools and physical prototypes.
- Develop business cases to secure approvals and funding for infrastructure expansion.
- Track and monitor the progress of various work streams and escalate any issues to senior management.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the Tengah Hospital Committee.
- Organize and lead activities supporting the development of Tengah General and Community Hospital.
- Oversee implementation of care models and operational workflows, ensuring alignment with budget and policies.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, arranging logistics, and maintaining records.
- Handle procurement and payment processing as needed. Take on any other projects or duties assigned by your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of healthcare operations experience; candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Manager role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and goal achievement.
- Resourceful, independent, and analytical, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to perform well under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
