RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely and efficient academic support to both JD and LLM faculty and students that includes:
- Admission, matriculation, enrolment exercises, and payment processing.
- Curriculum planning for each academic year; Timetabling exercises for each school term.
- Handling enquiries from public, faculty and students.
- Plan and execute the marketing and outreach activities that includes:
- Increase publicity and outreach efforts through the planning of information sessions, roadshows, social media, and email marketing with the marketing manager.
- Working with the marketing manager in building awareness and attractiveness of the PG programmes via various media platforms.
- Setting up and maintaining the programme websites.
- Ensuring that marketing and outreach campaigns operate optimally within programme budgets.
- Rendering operational and logistical support that includes:
- Facilitating the organization of alumni gatherings.
- Organization of pre-term orientation activities for new students such as briefings and talks by relevant SMU departments.
- Liaising with firms and institutions, to organize talks, study visits and tours.
- Coordinating and working with external entities (ICA, Supreme Court, SILE, JSC, LSC) and University departments such as Registrar, PGPP, PVO, OSM, IITS, eLearn, and Finance on matters related to PG programmes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a tertiary institution.
- Strong planning and organization ability.
- Team player and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Good writing skills and well-spoken English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
