About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager-Tax to join our Wiley team in Singapore. Reporting to the Senior Director International Tax, the Senior Manager- Tax will focus on corporate income tax requirements within the APAC region including direct and indirect tax computations, payments, audit defense, system/process improvements, transfer pricing, and M&A support.
How you will make an impact:
- Coordination of tax compliance with APAC business unit financial controllers and local tax advisors
- Review of quarterly tax provisions for external disclosure
- Support corporate income and GST tax audits
- Manage transfer pricing policies and related intercompany agreements within APAC
- Participate in the company’s worldwide tax strategies
- Integration of tax compliance of acquired companies
What we look for:
- 7 -10+ years well rounded experience in Corporate Taxation
- Tax accounting knowledge and experience specifically, ASC 740, FIN 48, and SOX compliance
- Direct tax and indirect tax compliance experience
- Strong analytical and computer skills (Onesource, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Management capabilities to grow and assume additional responsibilities
- Ability to cross train and support talented tax team building effort
- Ability to enhance accuracy and efficiency to the tax compliance processes
