About the Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager-Tax to join our Wiley team in Singapore. Reporting to the Senior Director International Tax, the Senior Manager- Tax will focus on corporate income tax requirements within the APAC region including direct and indirect tax computations, payments, audit defense, system/process improvements, transfer pricing, and M&A support.

How you will make an impact:

• Coordination of tax compliance with APAC business unit financial controllers and local tax advisors
• Review of quarterly tax provisions for external disclosure
• Support corporate income and GST tax audits
• Manage transfer pricing policies and related intercompany agreements within APAC
• Participate in the company’s worldwide tax strategies
• Integration of tax compliance of acquired companies

What we look for:

• 7 -10+ years well rounded experience in Corporate Taxation
• Tax accounting knowledge and experience specifically, ASC 740, FIN 48, and SOX compliance
• Direct tax and indirect tax compliance experience
• Strong analytical and computer skills (Onesource, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Management capabilities to grow and assume additional responsibilities
• Ability to cross train and support talented tax team building effort
• Ability to enhance accuracy and efficiency to the tax compliance processes
