- Work with the clinical team to set goals and plans for the unit.
- Oversee new staff orientation, assess their skills, identify training needs, and support their career development.
- Review the quality of nursing care and make improvements as needed.
- Lead investigations into incident reports and ensure steps are taken to prevent similar issues in the future.
- Keep track of spending and supplies to ensure resources are used wisely.
- Create staff schedules that match the needs of patients with the right mix of nursing skills.
- Make sure nursing policies and procedures follow organizational standards.
- Apply broad, system-level thinking to solve problems in different situations.
- Take the lead in hiring, training, and keeping nursing staff, working closely with the nursing team.
Requirements:
- Degree holder
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
