Job Overview
We’re seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA to manage and optimize mission-critical database systems. The role involves leading database architecture, ensuring high availability, and supporting performance, security, and scalability across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Oracle database systems.
- Support backup/recovery, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and resource management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues and system performance bottlenecks.
- Guide development teams with SQL tuning, schema design, and best practices.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and contribute to system improvements.
- Provide architectural input and support during audits, upgrades, and migrations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on DBA experience with Oracle and other RDBMS.
- Proficient in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows server environments and scripting.
- Experience in high-volume OLAP systems and complex database environments.
- Familiarity with backup tools, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
