Join our pioneering team in Singapore! Dingdong Maicai is expanding its B2B fresh grocery delivery model (successfully proven in Dubai) to serve Singapore’s F&B sector. We’re building a dedicated supply chain to deliver fresh produce, groceries, and condiments to businesses (e.g., restaurants, canteens).
Responsibilities
1. Supplier Management: Responsible for supplier screening, evaluation, and relationship maintenance, building a stable supply system to ensure reliable and high-quality supply. Actively identify and develop new suppliers, striving to procure higher-quality, lower-priced fresh produce.
2. Expiration Date Management: Strictly control expiration dates and promptly dispose of near-expiring products to prevent losses. Manage inventory planning and control to reduce costs and improve turnover.
3. Procurement Planning: Develop reasonable plans based on customer and supplier needs to ensure sales for the mall. Adjust product mix seasonally to ensure timely stocking of seasonal bestsellers. Track arrival dates and quality, complete morning procurement coordination, and create purchase orders.
4. Product Operations: Responsible for overall category operations and maintaining mall product information, including file creation, descriptions, listing and delisting, event submissions, and third-party reporting.
5. Gross Profit Management: Based on sales and gross profit figures, analyze and control procurement costs, identify savings opportunities, and improve gross profit.
6. New Product Sourcing: Inquire about products and prices based on sales needs, compare prices from multiple sources, reduce costs, increase margins, and create inventory and stock to meet customer needs.
7. Language Requirements: Fluent in English

Qualifications
Must be a professional sourcing professional with a thorough understanding of international food markets and trade regulations, and proficient in multiple languages (English is a must).
Must possess keen market insight, precise cost control, excellent negotiation skills, robust supplier management, and risk management capabilities to ensure food supply, optimize cost and quality, and coordinate efficient supply chain operations.
1. Familiarity with the major local markets for fruits and vegetables, seafood, meat, seasonings, and alcoholic beverages, with extensive resources to ensure diverse sourcing channels and competitive pricing.
2. Understanding the supply chain structure of major local players and leveraging upstream resources.
3. Minimum three years of experience working at a leading local platform, with at least two years of independent responsibility for a specific product category.
4. At least three years of relevant product procurement experience, with familiarity with frozen and fresh food procurement channels and market trends.
5. Excellent price negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing terms.
6. Excellent supplier management skills to establish stable supply channels.
