Responsibilities:
- Tender and contract document administration
- Taking of quantities, sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, pricing and preparation of submission
- Oversee negotiation and procurement of materials and equipment during project duration
- Oversee preparation of BQ, variation orders, cost estimate, cost control and budgeting
- Assist project team in letter / report writing and correspondences
- Undertake other QS duties as and when assigned by top management
- 10 Year working experience in the related field, preferably specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills. Strong aptitude for numbers and spreadsheets.
- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Construction-related, engineering field.
- At least 10 years of working experience in construction, building, project management, manufacturing.
- Have HDB project working experience
- Knowledge of structural, plumbing, electrical civil (any area) will be beneficial.
- Familiar with Structural drawings to prepare for tender and job order.
- Competency in computer-aided drawing.
- Responsible, self-driven, organized & team player with good interpersonal skill.
