Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in novel shopfloor operations systems for scalable self-learning, self-optimizing and self-recovery production systems
- Lead the design and implementation of integrated Operational Technology alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
- Work with a team of engineers and scientists to design and implement integrated OT and Al-enabled production systems for smart manufacturing
- Understand autonomous manufacturing domain and provide innovative solutions to industry problems in this area
- Build data interoperability and data pipelines setups to support AI-enabled production systems.
- Masters or Bachelor degree in relevant field.
- 1-3 years experience in industry and/or R&D projects in the area of shopfloor data connectivity, Manufacturing Execution system and software backend development.
- Proficient in Python, C/C++/C#, .Net, Node.js, JavaScript, Rea
Familiarity with industry communication protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, Profibus, and RS-232 is an advantage.
Knowledge of extracting data from various PLC (eg. Fanuc)
Excellent technical presentation and writing skills
Can-do attitude and able to work with different needs of various stakeholders
Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems innovatively
Microservice trained is preferred
