Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ needs upon admission and daily during their hospital stay.
- Create and implement care plans based on assessed needs.
- Evaluate and track patients’ progress according to the care plan.
- Document care provided and monitor outcomes on designated charts and forms.
- Provide safe and skilled nursing care at all times.
- Engage actively in physicians’ rounds.
- Execute treatments and tests as prescribed by physicians.
- Work in partnership with physicians and healthcare providers for seamless patient care delivery.
- Offer information and education to patients and families on disease prevention, health education, and rehabilitation methods.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Supervise and guide nursing students, new hires, registered nurses, and junior staff.
- Participate in clinical and service quality initiatives.
- Keep current with the latest nursing and healthcare practices.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Diploma/ Degree in Nursing from SNB-approved training institutions.
- Willing to do shiftwork.
