Your responsibilities include:
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and assess method statements submitted by contractors, particularly those related to structural/civil works.
Evaluate structural designs, 3D analytical models, specifications, calculations, and drawings; coordinate to obtain statutory approvals where necessary.
Prepare and review risk assessments and HSE plans for construction activities.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction work to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and quality standards.
Be accountable for timely delivery of accurate design solutions, reports, specifications, and drawings.
Ensure all design/review work adheres to the company’s quality standards and procedures.
Oversee effective task management and structural resource allocation on site; monitor against scope, schedule, and budget.
Provide technical support in structural engineering and ensure the accuracy of project delivery.
Attend technical meetings, site coordination discussions, and inspections with the contractor and client representatives.
Present technical designs and project strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead and mentor junior site engineers, promoting the use of digital tools and structural modelling for improved quality and efficiency.

What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in site supervision for large-scale projects.
At least 5 years of experience in the Middle East, with thorough knowledge of local codes, standards, and authority requirements.
Proven experience supervising a broad range of projects, including hospitality, luxury residential, mixed-use, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
Track record of delivering high-quality structural projects on time and within budget.
Skilled in analytical/design software such as Robot, Revit, ETABS, STAAD, CSC, RAM, and Tedds.
Demonstrated experience in planning and monitoring construction programmes, cost control, and structural resource allocation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dubai Municipality G+Unlimited Accreditation and/or certification from other local Middle East authority bodies.
- Membership or certification from IStructE or similar professional bodies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the structural site team and ensuring that all site supervision activities are executed with precision, technical accuracy, and efficiency. You will combine technical excellence with strong leadership capabilities, fostering a collaborative work culture and ensuring high-quality delivery across all aspects of the structural scope.
