Job Description
- Lead and supervise day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, ACMV, generator, and other building systems.
- Use electrical measurement and testing equipment (e.g, multimeters, clamp meters) to assist in troubleshooting.
- Oversee and coordinate external vendors during servicing, repairs, and verify quality of completed works.
- Assist the Senior Facilities Executive in planning and scheduling preventive maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections, safety audits, and walkabout. Identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Provide hands-on support for complex maintenance issues and guide technicians in executing tasks.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance records, service reports, and compliance checks.
- Support setup for events and coordinate with other departments for facility-related needs.
- Take charge of emergency repair response. Recommend improvements in maintenance processes, tools, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency.
Job Specification
- Diploma Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services, Facility Management, or equivalent).
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities or maintenance, including supervisory exposure.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, ACMV, and building systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex faults and guiding technicians in problem resolution.
- Ability to coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors.
- Good knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Physically fit to perform hands-on repair and maintenance tasks when required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Professional and respectful, with sensitivity in working within a nursing home environment.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours standby rotation.
- Working Hours : 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday).
