About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic construction team. As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects. What you'll be doing
- Effectively manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to optimise productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks in a timely manner
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations on site
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement effective construction plans and strategies
- Provide regular updates to the client and key stakeholders on project status and milestones
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and champion a culture of continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex construction projects from start to finish
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications and drawings
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
