Position Summary:
We’re seeking a collaborative and consultative business development professional to strengthen our SME loan portfolio through broker partnerships and client-centric financing strategies.
Core Duties:
- Cultivate strong ties with intermediaries such as brokers and business advisors to drive consistent loan referrals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to SME clients—understanding their needs, evaluating financial health, and offering viable loan options.
- Facilitate the end-to-end loan process, including documentation, initial assessments, and coordination with credit teams.
- Maintain oversight of active loan accounts, ensuring timely payments and early detection of potential risks.
- Collaborate with Collections and Risk teams to manage overdue accounts and mitigate exposure.
- Provide advisory support to clients on cash flow planning, funding strategies, and sustainable financial practices.
Required Experience:
- 4 or more years in SME lending or business relationship management.
- Experience engaging third-party brokers and a keen understanding of the SME financing landscape. Competency in credit evaluation and financial statement interpretation.
