Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Cucumber.
- Execute test cases and validate results against expected outcomes for both Java-based and .NET-based applications.
- Write efficient and reusable SQL queries for database validation.
- Work in Linux/Unix environments to run test scripts, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand requirements and provide test coverage.
- Contribute regularly to the codebase using version control systems like Git as part of the automation framework.
- Identify bugs, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams for resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong Java development background, especially in building automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Cucumber for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in testing .NET applications.
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments for script execution and log analysis.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
