Responsibilities
The O&M Technician is responsible for providing hands-on support in the operation and maintenance of all PV systems in our portfolio. He/she will assist the engineers with maintenance tasks, including performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and carrying out necessary repairs.
Additionally, the O&M Technician will oversee contractors when engaged for maintenance work, ensuring that safety and quality standards are adhered to.
The O&M Technician will:
- Support engineers in maintaining the company’s installed PV systems and those covered under O&M contracts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry out repair activities on PV systems efficiently and safely.
- Record faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in the company’s internal tracking system.
- Oversee maintenance work when contractors are engaged, ensuring that safety and quality are adhered to.
- Adhere to the organization's ISO9001 and ISO45001 policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in the electrical or related industry is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of performing tasks, including working at heights.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in renewable energy are encouraged to apply.
