Description:
The Solar PV Lead plays a key role in leading many groundbreaking solar lifecycle projects at Vector Green. It is a purposeful and meaningful role that contributes directly to ensuring a lower carbon and sustainable future for Singapore and beyond.
In this role, you will:
- Review and authorise solar PV system designs, including single line diagram (SLD), schematic diagrams, electrical & mechanical structural calculation of sizing, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) of material
- Ensure timely and proper submissions and approvals of engineering drawings to client and relevant authorities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of solar PV projects, from planning, shading analysis and site assessment, designing, building to commissioning and operations & maintenance
- Manage the installation of solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution of solar PV projects
- Identify and mitigate potential risks specific to solar PV installations, including site conditions and technical challenges
- Plan and allocate resources nimbly and ably to ensure project delivery within time and budget
To perform in this role, you should have
- At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in solar PV industry
- Proven track record in running solar projects
- A can-do and resilient spirit that strives for excellence and going the extra mile
- Ability to solve problems and multi-task in a lean structure
- A Growth and Innovative Mindset with preferably some experience in other renewable energy technologies
- Effective communication skills to motivate and engage all stakeholders
