Role Overview
The Solar Project Administrator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of solar projects from initiation to completion. This position is responsible for project coordination, documentation, compliance, and stakeholder communication. The administrator ensures projects run smoothly by maintaining accurate records, facilitating approvals, and assisting in regulatory and utility submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Support project manager in planning and scheduling project milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on outstanding tasks, and update project trackers.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, compile, and maintain project documentation including engineering design drawings, solar simulation report, safety documentation, authority application (eg. SP, EMA, SCDF etc.)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company ISO quality standards.
- Generate regular project progress and status reports for management and clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in solar or renewable energy projects will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD , PVsyst , and project management tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
