Role Overview
As the Store Planning & Design Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, design development, and execution of new store openings, renovations, and in-store visual enhancements. You will ensure that every boutique or shop-in-shop reflects the brand’s luxury standards while delivering an elevated customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Store Planning & Project Management
Lead end-to-end store development projects: site evaluation, space planning, design coordination, construction monitoring, and post-opening review.
Manage timelines, budgets, and quality control for new openings, refurbishments, and store closures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail operations, merchandising, marketing, and external consultants.
Design & Concept Development
Translate brand DNA into physical retail environments—flagships, shop-in-shops, travel retail, and pop-ups.
Maintain and evolve retail design guidelines aligned with global brand vision.
Innovate store layouts to enhance flow, customer interaction, and product storytelling.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Source and manage architectural, design, and construction vendors.
Review construction drawings, materials specifications, and shopfitting details.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and global brand standards.
Visual Merchandising Integration
Partner with visual merchandising to ensure product displays align with design intent.
Support seasonal and promotional display implementations during planning stages.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
min 8 years of experience in store design and planning, preferably in the luxury fashion or watch/jewelry industry.
Proven ability to manage complex retail projects across multiple markets.
Strong technical understanding of architecture and retail fit-outs.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Revit or 3D rendering tools is a plus.
