Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic technical leader to oversees datacenter network infrastructure across Singapore and five regional markets, managing a team of 10+ network professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network technologies, proven people leadership skills, and substantial experience operating in highly regulated financial environments.
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our Data Centre environment within a highly regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data center networking, automation, and security to support mission-critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Enterprise network team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams (Infrastructure, Security, Applications and compliance) to drive holistic solutions
- Manage SG and regional datacenter networks leveraging ACI, EVPN network technology
- Adhere to bank-mandated network architecture standards and enforce a strong compliance mindset across all activities
- Oversee vendor engagement and commercial negotiations, working with Group procurement team
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls in all network operations, working with Compliance team
- Monitor network performance, resolve technical escalations, and implement continuous improvement SG and regional network initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 15+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in managing datacenter networks across multiple geographies
- Deep technical knowledge of Datacenter network technology
- Strong experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries, with proven compliance acumen
- Excellent team management, and commercial negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align non-technical senior stakeholders
