Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swimming Coach to deliver high-quality and engaging swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons may be conducted in both private and group settings. The ideal candidate is committed to professional conduct, client satisfaction, and continual improvement of students’ swimming abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients to schedule suitable lesson times for private sessions.
- Plan and deliver structured lesson plans for both private and group classes.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism during all coaching sessions.
- Keep accurate records of lessons conducted and hours worked each month.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage client retention.
- Clearly communicate lesson policies, including payment terms and cancellation guidelines.
- Ensure timely collection and reconciliation of payments for private lessons.
- Maintain and take care of all coaching equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool venue.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of group lessons.
- Take accurate and regular attendance for group sessions.
Qualifications:
- GCE “O” Level certificate, ITE Certificate, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant coaching experience.
- Certified Swim Coach (from a recognised body).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Medically fit to perform coaching duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Deliver effective and professional swim coaching to clients across various age groups and skill levels.
- Sustain and grow the client base through high-quality instruction and rapport building.
- Ensure timely remittance and proper tracking of lesson fees.
- Maintain an organised and well-equipped venue conducive to professional lessons.
