Job Scope
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our Operations Team. This role is essential in ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, communicated, and delivered through effective collaboration with stakeholders, technology teams, and testers. The Business Analyst will be involved throughout the project lifecycle-from initial requirement gathering to post-implementation review-driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Engage stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Leverage domain knowledge and shared experiences to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Translate operational needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
User Story Creation
- Create standardized, testable user stories using tools like JIRA Assistant.
- Ensure clarity and completeness to support development and testing teams.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate consistent communication across stakeholders and technical teams.
- Conduct weekly stakeholder updates and daily huddles with tech teams.
- Clarify and validate requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Verification
- Collaborate with testers to define and validate testing requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing timely clarifications.
- Ensure that solutions meet documented requirements and business expectations.
Go-Live Support
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Support Live Verification (LV) and monitor go-live activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Post-Implementation Review
- Collect feedback on the delivered solution and assess its alignment with business needs.
- Document lessons learned and define success metrics for future improvements.
Continuous Improvement
- Review and refine business analysis practices based on project outcomes.
- Apply insights and feedback to enhance future project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Min 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (Tech BA with some sql experience + banking domain background).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
