Job Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination
Lead the planning and execution of electrical construction projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Technical Oversight
Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, designs, and installations in compliance with regulatory standards.
Review and approve electrical drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Site Management
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and technical compliance.
Resolve site-level technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Team Leadership
Supervise and support site engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Conduct technical training and mentoring to upskill team members.
- Compliance & Safety
Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Liaise with authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals.
- Cost & Resource Management
Monitor project budgets related to electrical works and control material usage to prevent wastage.
Ensure optimal use of manpower and tools across project phases.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management
Evaluate and manage electrical subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical components and materials.
- Testing & Commissioning
Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure all systems are tested, certified, and operational before handover.
- Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
Submit timely updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Innovation & Problem Solving
Identify potential design or execution issues early and implement effective solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Engineering or Facility Maintenance.
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience working independently.
- Able to handle stress and work alone without needing help or praise.
- Comfortable working in hot or non-airconditioned areas and standing for long hours.
- Looking for a stable, long-term job — not for frequent job changes.
- Okay with working behind the scenes without much recognition.
