Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to lead our QA team in delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing strategies across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This is a leadership role requiring both technical proficiency and team management capabilities.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience managing QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Expertise in test planning, test strategy, and test execution management
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on knowledge of both manual and automation testing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team across functional, integration, system, and regression testing
- Develop and maintain detailed test strategies, plans, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to define quality objectives
- Implement test automation strategies and frameworks (where applicable)
- Monitor QA metrics (defect rates, test coverage, etc.) and drive improvements
- Conduct regular reviews, mentor junior QA members, and ensure skill development
- Manage test environments, test data, and risk-based testing approaches
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ISTQB / CSTE or other QA certifications (preferred)
Technical Skills
- Test management tools: JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Azure DevOps
- Automation tools: Selenium, UFT, TestNG, or similar frameworks
- Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, VBScript)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills

Good to Have
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Work Experience- 7+ years of experience in QA/testing roles
- Minimum 2–3 years in a team lead or test manager role
