Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases.
- Integrate VB.NET applications with enterprise software (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.) using APIs, web services, or middleware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps) in large-scale Agile/Scrum environments.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Debug, optimize, and refactor legacy VB.NET/SQL code for improved efficiency.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while adhering to project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Document technical specifications and system architecture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in VB.NET development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, SSIS/SSRS is a plus).
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, MuleSoft).
- Familiarity with large-scale software development processes (version control, CI/CD, code reviews).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with Windows Forms, WPF, or ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of legacy system modernization (migration from VB6 to VB.NET) is desirable.
