Responsibilities:
- Manage all matters related to vehicle inspections and road tax for both taxis and private-hire vehicles.
- Handle vehicle registration, sales transactions, and disposal processes.
- Oversee billing for taxi and private-hire vehicle maintenance packages.
- Ensure compliance with PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) requirements.
- Support annual budget planning and monitor expenditures.
- Assist with taxi lifespan extension processes and related documentation.
- Conduct first-level verification and approval of vehicle downtime requests.
- Respond to hirer queries related to vehicles and downtime matters.
- Provide guidance and operational support to team members.
- Generate and analyse operational and performance reports.
- Cover team members’ duties in their absence to ensure workflow continuity.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the department.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge in vehicle maintenance and repair is required
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a mobility, car workshop, or dealership environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interest and knowledge in vehicle specifications and upkeep
- Experienced in fleet management operations
- Exposure to electric vehicles (EVs) is a plus
- Certificates or qualifications equivalent to Secondary education or Diploma in any discipline.
