Implementing testing solutions in Payment portal
Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and functional specifications to develop test cases for VisionPLUS systems.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for VisionPLUS modules (e.g., CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS, etc.).
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.
- Execute test cases manually or via automated tools and document test results.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects in the defect tracking system (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
- Validate batch processes, file processing (inbound/outbound), and payment interfaces.
- Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production validation as needed.
- Collaborate in agile or hybrid project environments and participate in daily stand-ups or sprint planning.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
Skills/Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in testing VisionPLUS modules such as CMS (Customer Management System), FAS (Financial Authorization System), TRAMS, ITS, MBS, etc.
- Good knowledge of payment card industry (PCI) and credit card processing workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend/database validation and data setup.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
- Exposure to batch job testing and mainframe environment (IBM z/OS, JCL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging standard and transaction flow testing
