Role: Windows Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user management,
security groups, and Group Policy
- Deploy and manage virtual desktop solutions across the organisation
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Configure and manage Windows-based security solutions and ensure compliance
with security policies
- Provide technical support and guidance for complex Windows-related issues
- Manage and optimise AWS cloud resources and services
- Implement and maintain configuration management solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows systems administration
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified)
- Strong experience in Active Directory administration, Group Policy management, and
Windows Server management
- Proven experience with virtual desktop solutions (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual
Apps and Desktops)
- Understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Experience with configuration management tools
Preferred Skills:
o AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
o Experience with automation tools and scripting
o ITIL certification
o Experience with monitoring tools and systems
o Knowledge of containerisation technologies
