Job Description
To manage the full set of accounts, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and taxation matters for KinderWorld International Group Ltd, and its subsidiaries. The role includes responsibility for billing, reporting, audit coordination, GST filings, and supporting project-based financial work.
1. Full Set of Accounts
- Handle bookkeeping and maintain all account balances.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and update the Fixed Assets Register.
- Post journal entries for depreciation, accruals, and adjustments.
- Support with audit schedules and documentation.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing
- Monitor daily incoming funds and issue official receipts.
- Coordinate billing with departments; issue invoices and debit notes.
- Maintain accurate billing records and update debtor aging reports.
3. Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices and staff claims with proper documentation.
- Resolve billing issues with suppliers and internal teams.
- Manage student refunds according to SSG's 7-day rule.
- Prepare and update payment records and cheques for approval.
- Maintain up-to-date AP ledgers and ensure timely payments.
4. Commission Processing
- Calculate and prepare monthly commission payments in line with approved commission structures.
- Maintain supporting records and ensure timely, accurate processing.
5. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly and annual reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Handle group consolidation and support year-end audits.
6. Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare quarterly GST filings; ensure GST invoices are correctly recorded and filed.
- Assist in preparation of corporate tax filings and statutory tax reports.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and consultants on financial and taxation matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
7. Reporting
- Submit monthly school fee reports for FPS insurance.
- Prepare management accounts and variance analysis.
- Compare forecasts vs. actuals and report differences.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and long-term projections.
8. Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and report low balances to FM/CFO.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.
9. Banking & Treasury
- Submit financial documentation to banks and liaise with bankers on account-related matters.
Others:
- Assist in other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Expected to work beyond normal hours to meet work and project deadlines.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
