Our client is seeking an ACMV Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

What you'll be doing?
- Tender preparation: Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, cost reports, and cost plans, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Contract administration: Handle pre-contract and post-contract administration duties, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Liaison and communication: Work closely with consultants, attend site visits, and participate in tender briefings and meetings.
- Drawing evaluation: Review tender drawings for discrepancies, ensuring all details are accurately captured.
- Quantity take-offs: Prepare detailed bills of quantities and source suitable subcontractors for project requirements.
- Stakeholder management: Liaise and communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quotation evaluation: Assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with tender requirements.
- Cost estimation: Prepare timely and accurate cost estimations, technical data, and unit rates for project planning.
- Documentation management: Ensure all tender documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines.
- Pricing knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local pricing trends and market conditions.
- Value engineering: Suggest innovative value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and efficiency when required.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational background: Hold a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
- Relevant experience: Possess at least 3 years of QS experience related to Building Services or Electrical services. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be considered for a senior role.
- Software proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office software and Cubic Cost Software, essential for efficient project management.
- Design & Build expertise: Possess good knowledge and experience in Design & Build Tender for M&E services, preferred for this role.
- Contractual knowledge: Possess contractual knowledge, preferred for navigating project requirements and agreements.
