Job Description:
You will support the day-to-day supply chain or logistics activities of our customers which can cover import container coordination and warehouse planning of console containers. You will be required to coordinate with customers, contractors, truckers, and transporters to support the execution of these activities. You will also be required to handle staff administrative matters together with a team of supervisors and admin support staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day support of warehouse activities
- Ensure container utilization planning is done at maximum capacity with considerations of cargo handling requirements and cargo safety
- Manage day to day administrative matters of PESD staff
- To work with trucking and warehouse team for executing import containers at warehouse
- To handle all coordination with client for import console containers
- Sent out tally sheet reports & inventory reports to client timely
- Adhere to any agreed KPI tasks with client
- Any adhoc tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in any discipline
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in warehousing jobs; fresh graduates with no prior experience are also welcome to apply
- Critical thinking and writing skills
- Logistics operations management preferable in 3rd party logistics (3PL), trucking, distribution or manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Freight Management System (FMS), or LCL digital consolidation platforms
- Able to work independently and with good analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
- Meticulous in details
