Are you passionate about hospitality and skilled in the art of restaurant operations? We're looking for a Restaurant Operations Assistant to support our Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional guest experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant activities.
- Meet and engage with customers in person or via phone to handle reservations and event enquiries.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback or requests.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to understand and exceed expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and chef to ensure timely food service.
- Offer knowledgeable recommendations on wines and liquors to enhance the dining experience.
- Uphold high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality at all times.
- Manage staff rostering and be a mentor to the staff
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in restaurant operations or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of food service coordination and wine/liquor pairing.
- Able to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
