Dona Manis Cake Shop is seeking a hardworking and reliable Bakery Customer Service Assistant to support the smooth running of our bakery operations. As part of the front-of-house team, you will assisting in tending to customers, taking their orders, and getting their pastries ready-to-go!

✨ Skills Needed:
Sweet and courteous customer service skills
Comfortable using the POS system
Good with basic math
Good command of English, ability is to speak a second language is a plus.
Organized: able to record daily inventory, report sales, answer phone calls, and take orders
WSQ Level 1 Food Safety Handling Certificate required.
Duties include
Supervising store staff, including cashiers and sales associates.
Overseeing daily store operations, ensuring the store environment is maintained, and implementing security and safety standards.
Leading the team to achieve sales targets, developing promotional content, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Monitoring store inventory, communicating with vendors, and maintaining organized stock.
Monitoring store cashflow, managing budgets, and documenting sales records.
Greet and welcome customers
Take customer orders (and communicate orders to the kitchen if necessary).
Pack customer orders.
Answer customers questions.
Key in orders in POS system.
Collect payment from customers and perform other cashiering duties when necessary.
Check inventory (e.g. ensure sufficient stock of items) and raise inventory orders when needed.
Keep service areas and shop floor clean and organized.
Support back of house when required.
Any other duties as required.

Full-time (5 days a week)
