The Singapore Operations team drives growth and innovation for Grab, shaping the business to meet the evolving needs of consumers. We contribute to Grab’s vision of being Southeast Asia’s superapp by providing everyday services that matter most, and we develop and execute business strategies that help us serve our community effectively.
The Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant partners, advocating for solutions that enhance their success on Grab. We collaborate with business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, OmniCommerce) and product teams to deliver strategic initiatives that consider local market needs and optimize both merchant and consumer experiences, supporting country growth, cost priorities, and operational efficiency.
Get to know the role
This role is part of the Merchant Operations team, working directly with restaurant partners to ensure they succeed on our platform. You will play a key role in onboarding new partners, delivering impactful training, and providing operational support that enables restaurants to run smoothly and maximize revenue. Beyond day-to-day enablement, you will also collaborate across teams to translate partner needs into scalable solutions, ensuring that our platform continues to drive both partner satisfaction and business growth.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Partner with restaurant partners to enable smooth adoption, optimize system configurations, streamline workflows, and maximize revenue
- Design and deliver training programs and materials that equip restaurant managers and staff to confidently use platform features and operate efficiently
- Provide hands-on, on-ground support during onboarding and critical service periods, resolving issues quickly and strengthening partner confidence
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for urgent operational issues, ensuring business continuity through timely resolution or escalation
- Analyze partner feedback and operational data to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities, translating them into actionable improvements in processes or product direction
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Commercial teams to turn strategic priorities into scalable solutions that improve both partner and platform performance
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other relevant courses
- Customer-first mindset with strong communication and client management skills
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to effectively engage with a diverse merchant base
- Problem-solving and analytical ability to turn data and feedback into actionable improvements
- Experience collaborating across teams to execute strategic initiatives
- Adaptability, ownership, and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
