As part of Singapore Tax team and working closely with Tax team in Sydney HQ, you will contribute to our approach to tax reporting regionally in a rapidly expanding business. With your positive attitude and ability to work independently, you will help manage our tax obligations and support various tax-related initiatives.
Your Day to Day
- Managing tax reporting obligations for the group across the Asia Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India.
- Overseeing all tax reporting across direct taxes, indirect taxes, employee taxes and transfer pricing.
- Assist to drive continuous process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Support in regional tax planning including tax planning opportunities from new tax and transfer pricing legislation.
- Contributing to the team’s implementation of the group’s country by country reporting across the region.
- Maintaining transfer pricing documentation to support our global transfer pricing framework and models.
- Providing support on ad hoc tax advisory matters.
Requirements
- Has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field with appropriate professional qualifications (CA or equivalent).
- Min. 5 years experience in a similar tax compliance role.
- Strong in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently to execute on strategic priorities.
- A self-starter with a growth mindset.
