Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team
in the exciting world of the theatre industry. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities,
expanding partnerships, and driving revenue for our theatre. This is an excellent opportunity to

Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development & Growth
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate partnerships,
sponsorships, and funding opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
o Develop and implement strategies to attract new audiences, increase ticket sales,
and expand outreach efforts.
o Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging market
opportunities to identify potential areas for growth.
o Foster relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations
to promote the theatre's offerings and services.
• Sales & Partnership Management
o Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate
sponsors, donors, arts organizations, and influencers.
o Negotiate and close deals for event sponsorships, group bookings, and private
events at the theatre.
o Collaborate with the marketing and programming teams to design tailored sales
strategies for different target segments.
o Act as the primary liaison between the theatre and external partners, ensuring a
smooth and mutually beneficial collaboration.
• Event & Program Promotion
o Work closely with the marketing team to support the promotion of performances,
events, and special programming.
o Assist in the creation of compelling sales materials and promotional content for
targeted outreach initiatives.
o Coordinate outreach efforts for specific shows, productions, or seasons to
maximize sales and engagement.
• Reporting & Analysis
o Track and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies,
including sales performance, partnership growth, and audience engagement.
o Analyze key performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
based on data insights.
o Maintain accurate records of leads, contracts, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, preferably
within the arts, entertainment, or cultural industries.
- Strong understanding of the theatre industry, including audience development,
sponsorship, and event planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive growth and exceed targets.
- A network of industry contacts (corporate, philanthropic, or government) is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business tools.
- A passion for the arts, theatre, and live performances.
- Proficiency in English & Mandarin, spoken and written.
