We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Executive with a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem to lead our spot listing efforts. This critical role involves identifying, evaluating, and onboarding high-potential digital assets onto our exchange's spot market. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive network within crypto space, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of securing strategic listings that drive trading volume and user engagement. This role is fundamental to expanding our asset offerings and maintaining our platform's relevance and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving crypto market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Asset Sourcing & Evaluation:
Proactively identify and source new digital assets (tokens, coins, projects) aligned with market trends, community interest, and our exchange's strategic listing criteria.
Maintain and grow a robust network of relationships with blockchain protocols, token project teams, venture funds, launchpads, liquidity providers, and other key ecosystem players.
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming listing requests, guiding projects through our initial evaluation and due diligence processes. - Listing Process Management:
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Product, Research, and Operations, to ensure comprehensive due diligence, technical integration, and regulatory adherence for all potential listings.
Present compelling listing proposals and strategic asset opportunities to the Listings Committee for review and decision-making, articulating potential impact on trading volume, user acquisition, and platform reputation.
Negotiate commercial terms, listing fees, and potential marketing collaborations with project teams to secure favorable agreements.
Manage a robust deal pipeline from initial contact to successful listing, ensuring timely execution and seamless onboarding. - Relationship Management & Ecosystem Engagement:
Build and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with listed projects, ensuring their continued success on our platform and identifying opportunities for ongoing collaboration (e.g., joint marketing campaigns, community events).
Represent the exchange at key industry events, conferences, and meetups (both local and international) to enhance brand visibility, expand our network, and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for the exchange, articulating our value proposition to potential partners and the broader crypto community. - Market Intelligence & Strategy:
Continuously monitor the broader crypto market, including competitor listing strategies, emerging narratives (DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, AI, etc.), and regulatory developments, to inform our listing strategy.
Provide regular insights and reports on market trends, pipeline status, and performance of newly listed assets to senior management.
Contribute to the development and refinement of our overall asset listing strategy to maintain a competitive edge and drive sustainable growth. - Compliance & Risk Management:
Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all listing activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
Understand and communicate the legal and compliance aspects of digital asset listings to prospective projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven business development, partnerships, or sales experience within the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry (e.g., at a crypto exchange, project, market maker, or related fintech firm), specifically with a focus on asset listings or institutional partnerships.
- Deep and current understanding of the crypto ecosystem , including different blockchain networks, token standards, DeFi protocols, market structures, and industry trends.
- Extensive network of contacts within the crypto project community, venture capital, and institutional digital asset space.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing complex deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, assess project viability, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player, capable of coordinating across various internal departments.
- Comfortable with frequent international travel to attend industry events and meet with partners.
