Regional Headquarters in South East Asia - Samsung (Device Solutions) team in Singapore is seeking a talented & committed and versatile professional to join the South East Asia (SEA) Business Management and Support team to support our employees in Singapore. This individual contributor role will be responsible for gathering and management of business and market intelligence within the Asean region. This role will also be supporting part of the ESG function within the Company.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Derives future strategies and influence by analysis competitors siting strategies and investment movement in Southeast Asia.
- Analyse competitor technology levels and discover the possibility of cooperation with HQ discovering small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent technology.
- Investigate incentives or guardrail policies for each country related to the semiconductor industry and the beneficiary companies.
- Perform to sense issues of market and industry and predict mid, long-term trend by analysing global, continental, country economic indicators by quarterly, semi-annual, annual.
- Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure performance and progress.
- Sense & Report South-East Asia's geo-political, economical & geo-graphical issues.
- Analyse the impact of the data and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data and information collected for decision making.
- Update tax trends in Southeast Asian countries.
- Attend and Report industry relevant local exhibitions.
- Quarterly ESG Indicator reporting in NESG
- REC (Renewable Energy Certification) purchase to certify RE100
- Sensing the ESG policies and competitor trends by country in the region. Identify and manage ESG risks and opportunities to ensure compliance and mitigate potential impacts.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Strategy /Environmental Science / Social Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist with Office Administration or equivalent
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to sense & report market trend & provide forecast.
- Extensive knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint & Proposal making.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
- Positive attitude & great team player.
