You will lead a small team, coordinate with partners, and ensure the centre runs smoothly while achieving its mission of empowering youth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Manage programme scheduling, space usage, and activity logistics.
- Supervise and support staff, volunteers, and facilitators.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, funders, and community stakeholders. Monitor budgets, track outcomes, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in centre or facility management, programme coordination, or community work.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for youth empowerment and positive community engagement. Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Non-Profit Management, or related fields (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in centre management, programme coordination, or social/community work.
- Knowledge of youth development and safeguarding practices preferred.
- Proficiency in Canva/MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with basic budgeting and reporting.
