CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Overview
We are seeking an exceptionally driven and resilient Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect and execute the company’s long-term technology vision. This role demands unwavering commitment, deep technical expertise, and the ability to operate under high pressure in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. The CTO will be expected to work across multiple time zones and lead complex initiatives with minimal downtime.
Job Scope
Technology Strategy and Vision
- Develop and continuously refine a robust technology strategy aligned with aggressive business growth targets.
- Maintain constant awareness of emerging technologies and proactively assess their impact.
- Drive innovation while balancing risk, cost, and scalability.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage all technology functions across the organization, including engineering, data science, and infrastructure.
- Oversee a team capable of delivering under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and technical excellence.
Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the company’s entire technical infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 uptime and rapid scalability.
- Personally manage and troubleshoot physical IT infrastructure across multiple offices, including PCs, networking hardware, and other devices.
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, compliance issues, and operational vulnerabilities.
- Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards across all platforms and services.
Artificial Intelligence
- Spearhead the development, deployment, and monetization of autonomous AI agents for enterprise clients in collaboration with a US-based partner specializing in agentic AI technologies.
- Lead initiatives to enhance internal business processes using advanced AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making, secure data handling, and multi-agent coordination.
- Oversee the implementation of decentralized AI architectures that support secure identity verification, agent discovery, inter-agent communication, and autonomous transactions.
- Ensure AI agents are capable of interacting with external digital ecosystems, including websites, virtual environments, and enterprise platforms, while maintaining compliance and operational integrity. Maintain alignment with ethical AI principles, data governance standards, and long-term business value creation.
Global Coordination
- Demonstrated experience working with technology operations across the US, Europe, and Asia. Ability to coordinate with international teams and stakeholders across vastly different time zones.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles, preferably in high-growth or turnaround environments.
- Experience with agentic AI technologies and enterprise-scale deployments.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including late nights and weekends, to accommodate global operations and in particular, both the Singapore and US time zones.
- Will be required to travel regularly to our Papua New Guinea office to oversee infrastructure and operations.
- Hands-on experience managing physical IT infrastructure across multiple office locations.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is essential; native-level fluency is strongly preferred. A strong academic foundation with formal qualifications in both business management and information technology is critical for this role.
