We’re seeking a Curriculum Principal who is passionate about curriculum innovation, research, and supporting educators in creating meaningful learning experiences.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
Curriculum Development & Innovation
- Plan, research, design, and develop curriculum frameworks, resources, and programmes
- Review and refine lesson plans, teaching aids, and portfolios to ensure quality and relevance
- Keep abreast of the latest early childhood education trends, integrating innovative and research-backed practices
- Ensure curriculum alignment with ECDA guidelines and regulatory standards
Training & Educator Support
- Conduct teacher training, mentoring, and professional development sessions
- Support educators in implementing effective teaching strategies and best practices
- Monitor teaching quality through regular observations, feedback, and evaluation
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure curriculum quality meets both internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation, reports, and evaluation records related to curriculum effectiveness
- Liaise with ECDA and relevant agencies on curriculum standards and approvals
Research & Continuous Improvement
- Lead curriculum research initiatives to enhance programme design and delivery
- Integrate new pedagogical methods, technology, and learning resources into the curriculum
- Evaluate outcomes to improve teaching and learning effectiveness
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Principals, Educators, and HQ teams to ensure practical and workable curriculum implementation
- Foster open communication between educators, management, and parents on curriculum matters
- Contribute to school events and enrichment programmes that enrich children’s learning experiences
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education : Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or equivalent
- Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in early childhood education, and at least 5 years of leadership experience, with proven background in curriculum development and teacher training
- Knowledge : Strong understanding of child development theories and practices, with experience in content creation
- Skills :
Excellent research, planning, and curriculum design skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Creativity in designing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Ability to observe, assess, and document teaching and learning effectiveness - Attributes : Passion for early childhood education, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
