Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to manage and support global network infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments. The role involves incident response, problem resolution, and contributing to the improvement of processes within a highly SLA-driven support model.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle network incidents and service requests via ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Act as the technical lead during critical incident calls, driving resolution and communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across cloud and virtualized environments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Contribute to process standardization and ensure compliance with operational practices.
- Collaborate with global teams in a follow-the-sun support model.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Support testing, auditing, and documentation efforts. Enhance service quality and end-user satisfaction through proactive issue management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting global enterprise networks.
- Strong expertise in cloud networking (AWS or Azure), including virtual appliances and integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and troubleshooting complex routing issues.
- Proficient in LAN/WAN architecture, IP services, and network diagnostics.
- AWS Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer certification is highly desirable.
