The mission of the content design team is to make TikTok Shop an engaging and trusted global e-commerce platform by embedding our expertise in content systems, language, and writing into product development. We craft cohesive, consistent, inclusive, and branded experiences that effectively help our users achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and share feedback on development, improvement, and growth for team members.
- Work with team leads to build team culture, encouraging collaboration, and developing skills.
- Drive for completion of high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Facilitate projects, allocate resources, and drive consensus with stakeholders across time zones.
- Help manage and ensure the content experience meets TikTok standards, and be a champion for best practices.
- Align with writing teams across time zones to drive a cohesive product narrative.
- Find opportunities for Content Design to shine by leading projects, working on high-impact initiatives, and contributing strategically.
- Manage priorities to serve business needs while supporting, inspiring, and motivating content designers.
- Write, proofread, and edit UI text both for your own and reports' projects.
- Help lead Content Forum to drive consistency and improve content quality.
- Define efficient, practical solutions and processes for large-scale problems.
