We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event Operations Executive to coordinate and support the execution of events.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage on-site event operations with clients and vendors (e.g. catering services) to ensure smooth running of events.
- Handle logistical planning and set-up for events.This can include physically moving and setting up furniture such as tables, chairs, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and security protocols throughout event execution.
- Manage event close-out procedures, including proper packing and return of materials, equipment and furniture. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues as part of event preparation and during events.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in coordinating, managing and supporting events
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
- Physically fit and capable of handling event logistical setup
- Flexible and adaptable to various event environments and last-minute changes
- Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, resourceful and good at problem-solving
- Willingness to work on occasional evenings and weekends
