Position Overview
As the Global Head of Game Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of live game operations, driving performance optimization, and ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams. Your mission is to enhance player experience, improve game KPIs, and ensure the stability and scalability of our games globally. You’ll work closely with product, publishing, and data teams to manage game health and support continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the global game operations strategy across all live and newly launched titles.
- Manage live ops calendars, in-game events, promotions, and content rollout in partnership with product teams.
- Monitor and optimize core KPIs such as retention, engagement, monetization.
- Oversee incident response, issue resolution, and escalation processes to maintain game stability and player satisfaction.
- Build, scale, and manage customer service teams across regions to ensure timely and high-quality player service.
- Lead player community engagement strategies, including community operations, social platforms, and VIP user programs.
- Work closely with data, CRM, and monetization teams to drive segmentation, player personalization, and targeted content strategies.
- Coordinate with customer experience and community teams to respond to player feedback and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure seamless game updates, patching, and deployment processes.
- Implement scalable tools, workflows, and dashboards for global live operations management.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously improving internal processes and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in games operations, live ops or related roles within the mobile gaming industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record managing live games at scale across multiple markets.
- Deep understanding of mobile game performance metrics, economy tuning, and player behavior.
- Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience working closely with data and BI tools to drive decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a focus on execution and accountability.
