Our client, an impact-focused investment firm, is hiring a seasoned Head of Operations to lead and strengthen the firm’s non-investment functions. This role oversees finance, HR, compliance, IT, corporate secretarial, and administrative operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, and strong governance, while enabling the investment team to focus on deals and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the firm’s operational strategy in alignment with business goals
- Oversee finance, HR, compliance, technology, and administration functions
- Drive efficiency and implement scalable systems and processes
- Manage fund administration, investor reporting, and relationships with service providers
- Review and govern portfolio valuations and ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and tax compliance
- Lead HR functions including talent, performance, and culture initiatives
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Oversee IT strategy, cybersecurity, and workflow systems
- Manage office operations, vendors, and corporate documentation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in operations, finance, or corporate services (preferably in venture capital, private equity, asset management, or professional services)
- Proven leadership in managing multiple functions and senior teams
- Strong financial literacy and ability to act on financial insights
- Solid understanding of HR, governance, and regulatory compliance
- Skilled in project management and process improvement
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach
- Possess strong people leadership and board-level influence experience
- Ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
