RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of logistics personnel, including drivers, packers, and delivery coordinators, to support catering operations.
- Oversee daily logistics for food deliveries, equipment transport, and event setups, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the deployment of manpower and resources for catering events across multiple venues.
- Ensure proper stock control and inventory management of catering supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and manage delivery schedules, routing, and fleet utilization to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and service delivery.
- Manage overall logistics for events — including loading, transport, on-site setup, and teardown — to ensure smooth delivery and high standards.
- Enforce hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety protocols in all logistics operations.
- Review logistics processes and implement continuous improvements to increase productivity and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logistics activities, and incident reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of logistics experience in the F&B or catering industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of food logistics and event operations.
- Experience managing fleet and routing for time-sensitive deliveries.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing event requirements.
- A team player with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in the West.
- 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays when required for events.
